She is special, she is beautiful! Meet Duo, a tiny little black cat, who has ‘two faces’. She was born with a very rare congenital defect called Diprosopus, in which a fetus is born with a single trunk, normal limbs, and facial features that are duplicated. She has two faces – each has a mouth and nose.

She has now become the internet’s new love and for all the right reasons, the 4-month-old feline has fought against all odds to survive.

Though, Duo is loved by everyone, she was rejected by her mother when she was born different than her siblings. That’s when this good Samaritan – Dr Ralph Tran, a vet, decided to adopt this baby, according to the Daily Mail.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She made a debut on the internet when Tran made a Facebook page for her and started sharing pictures and video of the cat.

In a recent post, Duo was seen playing with her sibling at her new home. “Duo is 4 months, 1 week and 4 days old today. Over the past week she has really gained a lot of weight and has made tremendous progress,” reads the caption. “She’s gotten the eating thing completely figured out now and only makes a tiny mess when she eats!” it further reads.
