Dogs are quite friendly and the best thing about them is that they also love to share their love. If you ever befriend a dog, you will see that no matter how much you ignore the good friend, he/she will always come back to you wagging their tail. That is why we say you can find a friend for a lifetime in a dog and that is what makes them the best of friends as well.

We are going to share a story of a Pitbull who made a very close friendship with cats and the funny part is that Mako the Pitbull of the story, did not stop himself from being friends with them but also thought himself to be a cat as well! Before Bethany and Samantha adopted Mako, he had already been too familiar with cats and when he was introduced to his new home, he met some cat friends again, making his home a paradise!

Before Mako was introduced to the cats, both Bethany and Samantha were worried that he might not be friends with them. However, surprising them Mako did not only become friends with them but also started acting like them which made the owners realize that Mako had previously been acquainted with cats in his early life.

Speaking to us they mentioned that,

“When we went to the pet shelter, Mako had looked over his shoulder and gave us direct eye contact and we just fell in love with the little guy,” Bethany said. “At the time, he looked like a bobblehead because his head was so much larger than his body, we just thought he was adorable.”

So, Mako became a member of their family but they waited some time to introduce him to the cats.

“We initially kept the cats in a separate part of the house because we wanted to slowly introduce them to the new dog. He started jumping up on the small tables we had around the house and we thought he was just super excited and full of energy”.

Later on, when Mako made contact with the cats, Bethany and Samantha noticed that both the dog and the cats were acting in the same way!

“They would be on the counters and he would jump up there with them. He just wanted to be around them all the time.”

So, If you enjoyed the pictures of these funny friends and do not forget to share the article among your friends!
