As our Thanksgiving day with family and friends comes to a close, we also ask for your prayers for a sweet girl who is fighting for her life.
She was found emaciated, clinging to life, and lying in her own waste. She was so hungry and thirsty that she couldnโt even lift her head.
She went to VESH Lateral, where a wonderful team did emergency triage to save her life. She is still in a very bad condition, and the prognosis is very uncertain.
She is in the intensive care unit (ICU), where she is being watched over with IV fluids and nutritional supplements to prevent refeeding syndrome, which could cause her weak body to crash and take her young life.
