Man Slips Beneath Sidewalk To Try To Save Six Kittens Who Are Pleading For Help

Six kittens were saved from a hole beneath a pavement in a litter. Catsnip Etc., a rescue dedicated to TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), the only humane way to prevent the spread of cat colonies, was able to save him. To complete the brave mission, the headquarters in Elkhart, Indiana, was approached.

The kittens needed to be saved right away since they were in a dangerous situation.

Volunteers from Catsnip Etc., Paige, Carl, and Heln, showed up with all the equipment needed to help get the animals to safety. The rescue team revealed the following:

We arrived armed with wires, duct tape, a net, and flashlights when they called to report that the kittens needed assistance.

Since the hole was so small, it took some digging before the kittens were discovered. Six little kittens were gathered together on the bottom when they finally got close enough to count them.

Rescuers tried to encourage the furry ones to go by playing a video of a mother cat yelling at her young, but it was ineffective. The six fur balls stood still.

In order to convince and trap them in this circumstance, Carl, one of the crawling volunteers, crept below the sidewalk. He did this by lying on his back and putting his head through the opening.

Fortunately, he was able to reach the kittens and give them to the volunteers despite having very little room to maneuver.

Although it was a difficult mission, Carl was overjoyed to see the last kitten emerge, safe and sound after being saved. This was mentioned by the rescue crew:

“Carl was a hero, getting them through the tiniest crack. The kittens were filthy and covered in fleas.

Because they were so young, the rescuers thought the mother cat could be nearby, so they launched a fresh rescue effort to find her. They were able to locate her by using a human trap.

It took a couple of hours, but in the end, six scared infants were placed in foster care, and a frantic mother found refuge in a barn. Nobody was abandoned. The rescue team claimed that there was no better way to close the day.
