It’s hard to believe that there are people out there in the world who could pass a struggling dog without stopping to help them out.
This little puppy must have gone days and even weeks in his lonely search for food and water. After getting sicker and weaker, he finally found a place under a car where he could give up and d.i.e.
Yet people still walked by. Perhaps they didn’t notice him, or perhaps they were in a hurry, or perhaps they just didn’t care; no matter what the reason, it’s incredibly inspiring to realize that someone finally did something and called the proper authorities.
That’s when the rescue team came in. When they arrived at the scene, they thought they were too late: The poor little puppy was covered in flies, which had begun feasting on his body. Suddenly, though, they noticed the pup still had some fight left in him!
His body was trembling, but upon closer inspection, it became clear to the doctor and vets that his heart was still beating — he was still very much alive!
It took a lot of close calls, and a lot of work, and just a little bit of luck, but eventually this unnamed puppy began to show signs of better health. They eventually named the beautiful guy Oliver, and when you see his transformation, you’ll swear you’re looking at an entirely different puppy!
