A video of a lovely dog smiling and wagging her tail after being saved from the streets went viral. The dog’s name is Layla, and she was saved by Beaumont Animal Care after being discovered walking the streets alone for many days.

Rachel Barron, an Animal Care employee, went to the dog’s kennel and began chatting to her. As she talked in a baby-like voice, the dog was so amused she even smiled.

It was most likely the first time the small dog had received human attention and treatment. Layla smiled and waggled her small tail, signaling her appreciation for Rachel’s endearing actions.

Thankfully, she was able to record the sweet moment on tape, and it instantly went viral.

Apparently, once the video was published, they received multiple adoption queries for Layla, and a local couple was picked to be Layla’s new family.

Layla rapidly acclimated to her new surroundings and got along with the other dogs in her new family when they brought her home.
