Matilda was a cute puppy that was welcomed at Douglas County Animal Shelter, and from the moment she got in the staff there noticed Matilda had an extraordinary personality, she was happy and ecstatic all the time.

This came as a big surprise to the staff there considering first months of Matilda’s life were pretty rough. The two months old puppy was a stray dog in the streets of Georgia since she was born when the shelter picked her up she had skin irritation and was infested with worms.

But even with all those difficulties her tail was wagging all the time, and she was always a happy dog. “She gave the most sweetest kisses,” Santina Sanders a volunteer told The Dodo. “She was the cutest thing ever.”

Sanders wasn’t the only volunteer that noticed the sweet Matilda’s nature, Pibbles & More Animal Rescue was another rescue group that fell in love with the cute puppy’s nature.

One of the groups coordinators, Teresa Bowles-Chiofalo feeling attached to the happy ecstatic Matilda decided to rescue her from the shelter, and placed the dog with a foster family.

When the foster dad show up to take the dog, puppies happiness was so evident she never stopped wagging her tail during one and a half hour car ride.

Matilda was a happy nature but there was one thing she hated, she couldn’t stand collars, and when Rich the foster dad tried to put a collar on her, she stopped wagging her tail.

But apart from the collar, the sweet puppy loves everything else in her new home. She enjoys playing with her toys, and loves the company of her foster siblings, she also goes and helps her human brother with homework.
