After being rescued with the rest of the animals, the Captain was very patient and sweet while waiting to be moved to his foster home. He was about 7-8 years old when he was rescued from a hoarding situation. From the moment he stepped out of the aircraft carrier, he was very friendly and docile. All he wants is someone to cuddle with. “The captain is incredibly sweet and loving to everyone he meets.”
He quickly settled into his new place and felt at home. The captain arrived with a sweet disposition and eager to be loved. He can charm anyone with his big deer eyes and chubby cheeks. For the first time in his life, the Captain has a spacious room to himself and a large bed to sleep with his human. He was very pleased with all the new and clean blankets and soft things available at his fingertips.
He loves to hang out with his foster family and bask in their affection. “He loves kisses and is loyal, gentle, funny and a cuddly little attention seeker.” The captain was very happy to have a room to himself and a comfortable bed to nap. He is ready to find a place of his own where he can be the center of attention.
A couple came across a post about the Captain on social media and fell in love with his sweet face. They go to the adoption center to visit him and hope that the Captain will like them too. The captain was delighted to meet the couple at the meet and greet, and he quickly won their hearts. “It was definitely love at first sight. They hugged him and he cuddled right in their arms. They knew he was the only one,” Sara said.
After more than seven years, Captain’s dream came true when he moved into his permanent home and became the center of attention he always wanted. The Captain now watches over his human parents like their little anchor, day in and day out. He enjoys snuggling into their arms, taking a nap as they lie down, and sitting on their shoulder or back like a regal parrot.
The sweet boy is thriving as the family’s cat custodian, ensuring that his people are never alone. Just a few months ago, the Captain was sharing a crowded space with over 20 other animals. Now, he is living like a king in his own kingdom with the family of his dreams.
